Ashlynn Mongenel

Ashlynn Marie Mongenel age 29, of East Springfield, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday February 13, 2026. She was born in Erie on October 18, 1996 a daughter of Debbie Hinz Mongenel (Daney) of East Springfield and Edward Mongenel Sr. (Victoria)of Madison, OH.

Ashlynn was a 2015 graduate of Fairview High School and a 2017 graduate of Fortis Institute with a degree in Nursing.

She worked as a nurse for Manchester Commons, Pleasant Ridge Manor, and Jefferson Healthcare Center. She loved taking care of her residents more than anything.

Ashlynn loved taking care of people, making jewelry, and collecting rocks. She loved music and animals, but she especially loved sunflowers and iced coffee, and late night pizza moments.

She is proceeded in death by both her Maternal and Paternal Grandparents.

In addition to her parents, she is further survived by a sister Amber Neiswonger and her husband Zackery; a brother Ed Mongenel Jr. and his wife Jennifer; nieces, Aubrey and Aviana Neiswonger, and Gianna Mongenel, and a nephew Jordan Mongenel; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. As well as her beloved dog and cat, Annabelle and Mittens.

A celebration of life will be held for Ashlynn this summer. Arrangements are entrusted to the
