Arlene M. Miller age 89 of Fairview, passed away peacefully Friday evening July 10, 2026, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
She was born in Allegheny County on May 11, 1937, a daughter of the late Arthur O. and Galdys Lawrence Brueckman.
Arlene was a 1955 graduate of Fairview High School and worked as a bookkeeper for her husband at Fairview Service for many years.
She was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church for 75 years, where she was involved in many committees and was a Deacon, and served as treasurer. She was very active in the Fairview Community with her husband. She helped organize and run many Fairview sports concessions, loved to garden; and was a member of the Eastern Star, and had been a member of Lake Shore Country Club with her husband many years ago.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel V. Miller in 2012; and recently a son-in-law, Robert Streb.
Arlene is survived by two daughters, Kay Lynn Platz and Kim Heberle and her husband Craig; a son, Daniel M. Miller and his wife Michele; a sister: Joy Stadler; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Moisio; seven grandchildren: Justin, Stephine, Jordan, Tyler, Kristin, Andrea, and Ian; 11 great grandchildren: Cora, Noah, Maia, Alina, Ellie, Bennett, Sullivan, Halle, Harrison, Amelia, and Eden; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Friday July 17, 2026 from 11:00am until the times of service at 1:00pm, with pastors Emily Zeig Lindsey and Charles Cammarata officiating. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
