Annie Carvill Zenor, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 5, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan. Annie was the third child of the late Dan and Marie Carvill, Irish immigrants. Her life was a testament to grace, strength, and steadfast dedication to her loved ones and faith.

Annie graduated from St. Rose High School in Detroit in 1951 and began her professional journey at Detroit Edison. In 1956, she married Kenneth Zenor Jr., beginning a lifelong adventure rooted in love and family. For fifteen years, Annie devoted herself to raising her children, taking pride in her role as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, and supporting her children’s musical pursuits. She ensured each child had access to instruments and lessons, attending countless band and choral performances with joy and encouragement.

After her youngest child started school, Annie returned to the workforce, joining Eriez Magnetics where she faithfully served as Secretary to the President for 23 years, retiring in 2002. She was a devoted member of the First Alliance Church in Girard, PA. Her faith provided her with comfort and a sense of belonging. Known for her lively spirit and appreciation of nature, Annie found happiness tending her garden and exploring the woods along Elk Creek. Her warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Catherine Stricker; brother-in-law, Ira Stricker; her brothers, Owen Carvill and Daniel Carvill; and sister-in-law, Katie Carvill.

Annie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Kenneth Zenor Jr; five children, Kenneth T. Zenor, James C. Zenor, Lisa M. Leopold (Darryl), Laura A. Daniels (Andrew), and Lynda Z. Burrows (William). Her legacy extends to seven grandchildren: Amanda Daniels (Patrick), Andrew Daniels IV (Caroline), Kathryn J. Washburne, Cerrissa A. Clark (Christopher), William R. Burrows V, Dustin S. Burrows (Katie) and Wyatt J.C. Daniels; four great-granddaughters, Joanna W. Clark, Faye L. Clark, Brynn M. Burrows, Elizabeth W. Daniels; three great-grandsons; Andrew T. Daniels V, Vincent M. Daniels, and William C. Daniels. Annie is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Jean Carvill, and many nieces and nephews.
