Alicia Ann Koket, age 51, of Erie passed away at home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Born July 1, 1974 in Erie she is the daughter of the late George Tweed and Sandra Jean (Sterner) Koket. A lifelong resident of Erie, she was a graduate of Mercyhurst University and later worked for the family business, GeorgeKo Industries, where she devoted many years in the Quality Manager role, that she took great pride in and one that reflected her loyalty and dedication.
Alicia had a deep and abiding love for animals, especially her cats and beloved dog, Riley, whose companionship brought her endless happiness. As an avid traveler, Alicia enjoyed experiencing the beauty of the world, especially looking forward to her yearly trips with her Aruba group, experiencing adventures that she held dearly, with those she loved most.
As a long time member of the Sportmen’s Athletic Club and the American Legion Post #773, she is equally known for the laughter, long conversations and memorable evenings in good company. Her big smile and lively spirit made her someone people naturally gravitated toward, and her presence brightened every room she entered. Those who knew her will carry her memory with deep affection.
Alicia is survived by her two brothers: Matt Koket and his wife Linda and Michael Koket and his wife Candy, all of Erie; and her Uncle Phil and Aunt Karen Sterner of Virginia. She is the beloved aunt of Nicholas, Joshua, Lukas, Mia and Brianna. She also leaves behind many close friends that she considered family. The family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her father and mother, who she missed dearly every day.
