Alice. C. Trimble

Alice C. Trimble, age 94, of Erie, passed away at her daughter’s home on Friday June 13, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born on July 15, 1930, in Lucinda, PA, a daughter of the late Maurice and Catherine Hartle Wolbert.

She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Lucinda PA and married Robert Trimble. They raised their family in Erie, PA. She worked at Marx Toys and Erie Techno for many years. She retired to Green Valley, Arizona in 1987 where she took up hiking the beautiful mountains out there. She returned to Erie in 2020 to be closer to her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert, son Robert Jr., an infant son Thomas, a son-in-law A. Grant Koehler, and two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her children: Rose Koehler (Richard McClay), Bev (Ken) Pietras, and Jim (Sherri) Trimble; daughter-in-law Christine (James) Houser; grandchildren: Rebecca (Joseph) Dudenhoeffer, Nicholas (Fonda) Trimble, Daniel (Devon) Trimble, Paige Pietras and Nick (Jenn) Parrett; great grandchildren: Grant and Anna Dudenhoeffer, Bowman and Conrad Trimble, Finnegan & Kalligan Trimble and Oscar Parrett and many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by a special friend Kelly Daggett.

The family would like to thank the team at Asera Care Hospice for their loving care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie.
