Albert Waugaman

Albert Park Waugaman, Jr., age 91, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Fairview Manor. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 18, 1927 a son of the late Albert P. Sr. and Zella Zepher Waugaman. Albert served his country in the United States Navy during WWII at Pearl Harbor and then went on to graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. He worked as an Architect for Erie Steel Products. Albert was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. He was a member of the Lawrence Park Golf Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Potts Waugaman. He is survived by a daughter, Janis Bell; a son, Albert Park Waugaman IIII (Debbie); five grandchildren, Kelly Lynn Bell, Scott Bell (Robbe), Stacy Rathmann (Brian), Matthew Bell (Maria) and Chad Waugaman (Jess) and six great grandchildren, Alexandra, Tori, Nikolas, Thaddeus, Seth and Rossi. Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Sunday from 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VA Medical Center 135 E. 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504.
