Ray Breter helps our organization in many ways. You may see him on his daily route to expedite and deliver paperwork or running errands, necessary to provide the best service possible to the families we serve. Ray is very involved with Pet Loss Services by Burton on a daily basis. He works closely with many Veterinary Hospitals and sometimes with families, throughout Erie County providing the same quality of service and care to those families, experiencing the loss of family pets. Prior to his current role here as Courier, Ray was involved with many funeral services. He was able to take a WWII Commander to Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors and Fly over. Ray's motto is "Always put others before myself."
This was my first experience, so I don’t have anything to compare to. The services and staff were beyond what I may expected or what was received. It made this very difficult time so much easier. – Kristy
Over the past year, you have been a tremendous help to me as I tried to move the through two very sudden and grief filled situations and deaths. My sister’s funeral went very well. She is home and laid to rest next to our parents. It was a very small, quiet service that let us bury her in a manner that let us grieve and honor her. Your help in coordinating two out of town funerals was immensely appreciated. I could not have done it without your expert help.
Your quiet understanding and very capable nature made these difficult situations more bearable.
Enjoy the summer!
Thank you for the beautiful card and words on the anniversary of Dad’s passing.

Thank you for the beautiful snowflake ornament with my husband’s name on it that you sent to me. It is another example of how Burton’s is top notch in caring for the families of deceased individuals.
Bill at your West Lake Branch was extraordinary in meeting the needs and wants of my family. Everything was done to perfection and though it was the most devastating time in my life, I was very happy with the way everything was done.
My husband chose Burton Westlake when we were there for calling hours for a friend. As far as I am concerned, Jim made an excellent choice that day. Thanks for everything!

Thank you so much for being so wonderful to our family. You guys bent over backwards and cut us a lot of breaks when you didn’t have to.
Also, you were so personable and friendly and really showed us empathy through this rough time in our lives. We appreciate you.

It is hard to believe that a whole year has passed. I think of him so often and keep him close that way. Our thanks again too for the very professional and kind and caring way that Burton’s took care of everything for us after my brother’s death.
